I am a complete novice but want to try new interests. Will others be more advanced than me? From our experience our guests are similar, open minded and ready to learn or improve on their skills. Often this leads to an evening class or course back home. What are the other guests like? A range of ages from 30’s to 70’s, independent travellers, friends and some couples. From UK, USA, Australia … Will I have enough time to relax? The morning sessions start after a leisurely breakfast and the afternoon sessions start in the late afternoon. Usually guests spend 2-3 hours relaxing by the pool after lunch. Are all the rooms sharing? There are a couple of single rooms and the rest are really spacious twin and double rooms (can be made into triples) We do our best to match you with a similar guest. Some rooms are ensuite and others share a bathroom with one other. How will I get from airport to the house? Your transfer is organised by ACY Holidays Ltd. There are two pick ups a day from Carcassonne airport. We can also pick up from the railway station around this time. Can I spend more time in the art studio? Yes the studio is open all hours I have cooked most of my life and dabbled in art classes. Is this holiday suitable for me? Yes. Lionel will show you French recipes that you can adapt and add your own flair to. You can always spend more time in the kitchen learning the ‘chefs secrets’. . We know what it is like to attend an evening class and feel frustrated by the lack of time. This is your chance to spend some quality time, in a fantastic setting, developing your own work. |
