Whatever your ability you are welcome to our yoga workshops. When you start to practice you find that yoga works on several levels, as a beginner it is a physical  exercise that challenges and refines your flexibility, strength and balance. As you progress you will gain greater flexibility in you body and mind and develop an    emotional strength to help you handle the challenges in life.

Iyengar yoga is safe and non competitive. It is a combination of standing, sitting and laying postures to help realign your body, stretch out aches and pains, calm the nervous system and help you to relax. We use props such as blocks, ropes and bolsters to adapt the poses so you can work at your own level.

Karen has practiced Iyengar yoga for 14 years and trained as an Iyengar teacher 10 years ago. She has studied with the Iyengar family in India.
